Hi! I'm Nicky, first year student at Trinity College, Oxford, where I'm studying Physics. I achieved straight nines at GCSE in ten subjects, and 4 A*s at A-level in Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths, after a lot of hard work. I am hoping to pass on some of the tricks I learned, and I will provide logical help to improve your topic understanding. I am also available for PAT prep (Oxford entrance exam) and practice interviews.
I am half-German, and have visited family there many times, and thus have a near-fluent vocabulary and accent. Beyond that, I can help you in all the different tenses you need for GCSE, and give you more interesting phrases to use.
I can help your writing become more structured and fluent. In addition, I will help you pick out details from a chunk of text quickly, thus making your points and arguments more likely to hit marks.
I achieved a 9 in my Chemistry GCSE, and an A* in my A-level. In addition, I achieved silver and gold in the Chemistry Olympiad (best in year and best in school) in successive years.
Completed first year of Physics at Oxford (very maths-intensive). Reached maths Olympiad in three separate years. Can also tutor Further Maths (can cover notoriously difficult topics such as differential equations, calculus and mechanics)
Physics student at Oxford University, having completed first year. I am well-versed in EM, mechanics, special relativity, optics and circuits (sensing). This is my strongest subject, and I have completed hundreds of physics problems in my spare time.
