I have always been strong in these four subjects, achieving A*’s in all four at GCSE. At AS-Level I achieved grades which were at least 10% above the highest grade boundary in each of these four subjects as well as undertaking a biology based research project, in which I received an A. At A-Level I took chemistry, mathematics and biology and achieved an A in each. I have obtained a masters degree in chemistry at the University of York. This enabled me to achieve high mathematical proficiency and data analytical skills as I studied courses such as statistical thermodynamics and quantum mechanics. At degree level, Chemistry became heavily intertwined with degree level physics and biology, and therefore gave me more than enough experience to teach beyond GCSE level.
