I have over 5 years of experience teaching Spanish as Foreign Language and working in schools across the UK. I hold a QTS as a Spanish and French Teacher (PGCE in MFL with Spanish and French) with a good knowledge of the National Curriculum. I was working in Primary and Secondary Schools across South West London and Hampshire since 2019. I can teach English as a Second Language to adults and I hold a TESOL and TEFL qualification. Furthermore, I collaborate at the Cervantes Institute on different projects and I have worked in the prestigious Battersea Spanish School in London. I do private lessons, from beginners (A1-A2) to upper-intermediate (B1-B2) or advanced (C1-C2). I have experience in GCES and A levels exams (Key Stage 3-4-5) with great results, following the structure of the national curriculum for MFL in Secondary schools. Once I test the level of the students, I set up a list of contents regarding her/his level and objectives. I explain what I expect from them and they tell me what they expect from me so that it is easier to decide on a realistic learning plan. I use different official materials which combine theory and exercises: grammar structures, vocabulary, writing, and listening-speaking. I always end each lesson by reviewing all the contents, to make sure the student has understood the tougher parts of the lesson. I strongly believe that the only way to learn a language is having fun and using the mistakes to improve the student`s knowledge about this beautiful language. Some of my achievements were that students passed the GCSE exams with A and A*, choosing Spanish for their A-Levels Exams.
